Tanya Liddle won with an overall score of 35 on six year old, 16.2 hand Plenipotentiary. She scored 29 on the dressage section and picked up no penalties on the show jumping or cross-country.
"I'm very pleased, he's only a baby at six years old."
Speaking about the Scottish Championship Horse Trials here at Thirlestane, Tanya told us: "It's a lovely course and a real education for them. The going was perfect and he really enjoyed his round. It's been a good day."
