Alec Lochore, Novice Championship Winner

Having walked home from his earlier run on Crocodile Tears, Alec Lochore rode to victory in the Thirlestane Castle Horse Trials 2000 Novice Championship on Ethan Edwards.

"I'm very pleased to be here. As a Scotsman I see Thirlestane as our one day championship event. I've been here many times and I love it, this is a lovely ride. I've always wanted to win the Julian Scott Memorial Trophy as I know his wife Alex well."
