"Considering the appalling conditions and the weather, it's been amazing. The team here under Tony Hogarth. I don't think there are many events that could get away with it. It's a wonderful exposure for Thirlestane, which is such an important historical place, showing off its history. One is very, very proud that people come here and we can share our history with them. A lot of other places would have packed it in yesterday. Many people come a hell of a long way to get here, including from America and Japan. We have such a good team here and we wouldn't cancel unless it's absolutely impossible."
